Human teaching,
sharpened by AI.

Directories hand you a list and wish you luck. Chatbots lose kids in a week. pAIrmatic pairs an interviewed human teacher with an AI diagnostic that pinpoints exactly where a student is stuck — so every session starts where it actually needs to.

Why pAIrmatic

The care of a teacher. The precision of AI. Neither alone.

Today's options force a bad trade. We built pAIrmatic to skip it.

Tutor directories

No idea what's wrong

Marketplaces hand you a list of names and leave you to guess. Nothing tells you where your student is actually stuck.

Pure AI chatbots

Kids disengage fast

A bot that never really knows your child loses them within a week. Middle schoolers need a person who shows up.

The pAIrmatic way

Human + AI, together

A real, interviewed teacher does the teaching. AI handles the diagnosis and prep — so the human hour lands exactly where it counts.

How it works

A tight loop between a teacher and a diagnostic

Each session is set up by data, taught by a human, and reviewed to sharpen the next one.

01

Free diagnostic

The student takes a short diagnostic that surfaces specific concept gaps.

02

AI writes the brief

Results become a focus brief in the teacher's workspace — what to teach first, and why.

03

1:1 live session

An interviewed teacher teaches to the brief. Recorded and transcribed for quality.

04

Targeted homework

Three focused questions. The student submits them ahead of the next class.

05

The loop sharpens

Homework and the session review shape the next brief. Then it repeats.

Every session is informed by the last one

The idea

Lean by design. Human where it matters.

pAIrmatic is a founder-led company in Cockeysville, Maryland. We pair expert human teachers with AI diagnostics for one tightly scoped subject at a time — starting with middle-school math. The AI finds the gap and preps the session; a real teacher does the teaching. As the loop proves out, we'll extend it to new subjects and levels.

Questions

Good things to know

Is the teaching done by AI?
No. A real, interviewed teacher runs every live session. AI handles the diagnostics and prep — finding the gap and drafting the focus brief — so the human time is spent teaching, not planning.
What subject and ages?
Our first pilot is middle-school math (grades 6–8), focused on the Pre-Algebra and Algebra I foundations. We're starting narrow on purpose and will extend to more subjects and levels as the model proves out.
Is it online?
Yes — live 1:1 sessions over Google Meet or Zoom, scheduled around your family.
What does the pilot cost?
$49 for the complete 2-week program — the diagnostic, two 1:1 sessions, and targeted homework. That's our founding-cohort rate for the first 5 families; the program is $99 after that.
Who are the teachers?
Strong STEM students and educators who are interviewed before they're approved. For the math pilot, we're specifically hiring people confident in foundational middle-school math.
How are sessions kept safe?
Sessions are recorded and transcribed with written consent from parents and teachers. You consent up front and are welcome to be nearby during any session.
